WH Ireland Group Plc (LON:WHI) have today announced the appointment of Adam Pollock as Head of the Corporate Advisory and Broking Division. He will join the Executive Committee of the Company and will report directly into CEO, Richard Killingbeck.
Adam has 30 years’ experience in Investment Banking and joins WH Ireland from Zeus Capital, where he was Co-head of Corporate Broking. During his career he has led over 300 fundraises for a wide cross section of listed UK plcs. Prior to Zeus, Adam has held a number of positions at firms including Lazard Brothers, Hoare Govett, Deutsche Bank and Panmure Gordon. These have all been in the UK cash equities market, principally sales and advisory roles.
Adam joins the Corporate division in this newly created position, at an exciting time, following a strong rebound in client activity during the second half of 2016, a highlight being the £370m Sirius Minerals Plc (LON:SXX) transaction, where the firm acted as Co-Lead Manager. The firm is now building on this positive momentum into 2017.
Commenting on Adam’s appointment, WH Ireland Group Plc CEO, Richard Killingbeck said, “We are pleased to welcome Adam to WH Ireland. He joins during a significant period of development and growth at the Company and brings a wealth of experience to the division. His appointment demonstrates our commitment to evolving our service offering to our corporate clients as we seek to strengthen partnerships and help our corporate clients in achieving their goals. Adam is a welcome addition, further strengthening the management team and I look forward to working with him.”
Adam Pollock added, “I am delighted to be joining WH Ireland at what is an exciting time in its growth and history and I very much look forward to working alongside all the existing team members, including Co-Heads of Equities Adrian Hadden and John Cummins.”
