Warpaint London plc (LON:W7L), the specialist supplier of colour cosmetics and owner of the W7 and Technic brands , is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr John Collier as an independent Non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 1 September 2021.
Mr Collier is a Canadian national, based in New York, USA, who has spent nearly 30 years in the consumer goods industry, primarily at Revlon, the multinational cosmetics, skin care, fragrance, and personal care company. More recently, Mr Collier has been appointed as President of Swiss oral beauty and health company, vVARDIS Inc. Prior to founding his own New York based advisory business he was at Revlon between 1996 and 2018, latterly as President, North America. In this role he managed operations with approximately US$1.7 billion of annual sales, with responsibility for brand assets and commercial relationships spanning direct, e-commerce, speciality and prestige sales channels. His prior roles at Revlon included senior management positions with responsibility for brand and market development, including implementing e-commerce strategies.
Mr Collier will be a member of the Company’s remuneration committee and its audit committee.
