Vodafone  Group Plc CEO Brian Humphries to leave in March

Vodafone  Group Plc (LON:VOD) today announced that Brian Humphries, its CEO of Vodafone Business, has informed the company of his intention to take up a new role outside the company. Brian will be leaving Vodafone in March 2019.

Brian joined Vodafone in December 2016. In the two years, Brian has played a significant role in strengthening the operation, maintaining growth ahead of competition, reaching record levels of NPS and re-branding to Vodafone Business. Under his leadership, Vodafone and IBM have recently entered into a strategic venture that will prepare our clients for the next wave of digital transformation.

To ensure a smooth transition, Vivek Badrinath will act as interim CEO of Vodafone Business in addition to his current role as CEO of Rest of World. Vodafone will be announcing Brian’s successor in due course.
