Versarien change of auditors and accounting reference date

Versarien plc (LON:VRS), the advanced engineering materials group, has announced that the Board has resolved to change the Group’s independent auditors to BDO LLP and, to facilitate the change, its accounting reference date from 31 March to 30 September.  

As a result of the change in its accounting reference date, the Company intends to release its unaudited interim results for the 12 months ending 31 March 2022 in June 2022 and publish its audited accounts for the 18 month period to 30 September 2022 in January 2023.  Thereafter, interim and final results will be published each year for the 6 months to 31 March and 12 months to 30 September respectively.

Versarien’s outgoing auditors, PwC, have confirmed that there are no matters connected with their resignation which should be brought to the attention of members or creditors of the Company.
