Universe Group plc (LON: UNG), a leading developer and supplier of point of sale, payment and loyalty systems, has today announced the appointment of Ivan Brooks as a non-executive director of the Company.
Mr. Brooks brings over 20 years’ experience in information technology, leadership and consulting. Ivan previously served as Chief Information Officer for McDonald’s UK and Countrywide, where he led the adoption and roll-out of new technologies and drove business efficiency initiatives. Most recently Ivan has been advising a range of UK businesses as an executive IT consultant. In his current role Ivan helps executive management teams, IT specialists and CIOs address a range of IT topics, ranging from IT strategy to internal systems reviews and business transformation projects.
The only information required to be disclosed pursuant to Schedule Two paragraph (g) and Rule 17 of the AIM Rules for Companies, is that Mr. Brooks, age 54, is currently only a director or partner of Brooks Digital Limited and holds no shares in the Company.
