Tesco PLC Directorate and Board Committee Membership Change

Tesco Plc

Tesco PLC (LON:TSCO) today announced that Melissa Bethell will be joining the Board as a non-executive Director and become a member of the Audit Committee with effect from 24 September 2018. Melissa brings extensive executive and non-executive financial, technology and strategic experience to the Board.

Tesco, John Allan, Chairman, commented:

“I am delighted to welcome Melissa to the Board as a non-executive Director. Her broad range of skills and experience will be of significant benefit to the Board as we implement our strategy. The Board and I very much look forward to working with her over the coming years.”
