Standard Chartered hosting a two-day Asia investor and analyst seminar

Standard Chartered PLC (LON:STAN) today at its office in Hong Kong is hosting the first of a two-day investor and analyst seminar regarding its Asia business. 

Benjamin Hung, Chief Executive Officer, Asia, Standard Chartered, together with other senior leaders will illustrate how the Asia region will leverage its unique advantages to capture the significant opportunities for growth across the Group’s unparalleled footprint in the region.

Standard Chartered’s Asia business, with its three economic engines of Greater China, ASEAN, and South Asia, and two financial hubs in Hong Kong and Singapore is well positioned to leverage the expected strong economic growth of the Asia region.

“The time is now to seize the Asia opportunity,” said Benjamin Hung. “With our unparalleled footprint across 21 markets, we are uniquely positioned to connect Asia’s dynamic markets to each other, as well as economies in Asia and beyond.”

The event began at 9.00 am HKT with opening remarks from both Dr José Viñals, Group Chairman and Bill Winters, Group Chief Executive.
