Sirius Minerals Plc Admit 2,180,480,570 New Ordinary Shares to LSE Main Market

Sirius Minerals Plc (LON: SXX) announced on 30 April 2019 the details of a Firm Placing and Placing and Open Offer to raise gross proceeds of approximately US$425 million (£327 million), in connection with its Stage 2 Financing requirements. On 1 May 2019, it announced the results of the Firm Placing and the Placing, and on 21 May 2019, it announced the results of the Open Offer.

Capitalised terms not otherwise defined in the text of this announcement have the meanings given in the Company’s announcement of 30 April 2019.

Further to the announcements previously made by the Company in connection with the Firm Placing and Placing and Open Offer, Sirius Minerals Plc confirms that 2,180,480,570 New Ordinary Shares were admitted to the premium listing segment of the Official List of the Financial Conduct Authority and to trading on London Stock Exchange plc’s main market for listed securities at 8.00 am today.

The Enlarged Share Capital of the Company following Admission will be 6,977,537,829 Ordinary Shares in aggregate. This figure may be used by Shareholders (and others with notification obligations) as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA’s Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
