PwC’s respected annual CEO survey – newly released in Davos – reveals a significant increase in UK CEO confidence. Commenting on its findings, Mike Brennan, Group CEO of Norman Broadbent Plc (LON:NBB) said “Economically, UK CEOs are increasingly optimistic. Not only are they positive about the UK’s economic prospects, but when speaking of their own business, 88% anticipate growth in 2018.”
Commenting further, he said “PwC’s findings are very much in line with what our clients are saying. Yes, there is some uncertainty globally, but in the main the UK CEOs and business leaders we work with feel confident they can manage growth and remain competitive.”
