Jade Kremner, a 33-year old mother of two, was subjected to an attack described as ‘beast-like’ while on a night out in Oldham, Greater Manchester. The attack lasted 8 minutes and left Jade with a bump on her head, a 10cm gash on her thigh, neck swelling from being strangled, three punctures on her hand, numerous cuts on her backside and thighs, and two shards of glass in her foot. She was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance and is now recovering at home.
Jade was in the JLR bar and restaurant when it started. A woman approached her and asked if she was ‘okay’ before grabbing her hair and dragging her to the floor. The woman allegedly bit her fingers and ripped her hair out. A man then punched her in the head. Jade’s sister was also punched in the head when she tried to break up the fight. Jade said she was struggling for her breath and thought she was going to die.
Jade reported the attack to the police, who told her she needed medical attention. In the hospital, she received a full body X-Ray, CT scan, and tetanus jab. She is now left with physical and emotional scars from the incident. Jade’s identical twin daughters, 7-years old, are too scared to leave the house after learning of the attack.
A police spokesperson confirmed that an investigation into wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm is underway, but no arrests have been made at this time.
