Live Company Group (LON: LVCG) have today announced that BRICKLIVE BRICKOSAURS, a brand new LEGO brick touring show built by model-building company Bright Brights, will make its worldwide debut at Marwell Zoo from April to September 2019 and will then begin a tour around Europe. The first zoo in mainland Europe has already been signed for the Summer of 2020. The new tour will be incorporated within the Group’s BRICKLIVE TOURING brand extension.
Brickosaurs, comprised of 50 incredible dinosaur models, will invite crowds to take a trip back in time to see these giant reptiles that once walked the Earth. Featured models include velociraptors, dimetrodons, a pteranodon and more, and combined are estimated to be made from over 2 million bricks. The centrepiece of the new show will be a gigantic, life-sized adolescent T-Rex, the largest ever created for a touring brick show. The T-Rex, along with a host of other giant dinosaurs, are in production, and will be revealed at Marwell Zoo for the first time. The mainland Europe zoo will also feature the interactive element Feed the Raptors – to be a Brickosaurs first.
David Ciclitira, Executive Chairman at Live Company Group, said: “Producing a tour replicating dinosaurs has always been a clear goal of the Company and the fact that Brickosaurs has already been signed to two zoos before it is even finished being built demonstrates the potential for this new tour. The new injection of content will take BRICKLIVE to the next step and will enable the Company to expand and grow into new markets and new venues.”
Simon Horgan, Executive Chairman at Bright Bricks, said: “We are excited about this new tour and now have a number of zoos in several counties expressing interest for their venue.”
