Jupiter Fund Management appoint Belinda Richards as an independent Non-Executive Director

Jupiter Fund Management plc (LON:JUP) has announced the appointment of Belinda Richards as an independent Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 September 2020. 

Belinda has a thirty-year career specialising in strategy development and business operations, with a particular focus on the financial services and consumer products sectors.  Before starting her non-executive career, Belinda was a senior partner and the Global Head of Merger, Integration and Separation Advisory services at Deloitte.

Belinda will step down from her current role as a Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Wm Morrison Supermarkets PLC on 10 September 2020.  She currently serves as a Non-Executive Director of The Monks Investment Trust plc and Phoenix Group Holdings plc, as well as Schroder Japan Growth Fund plc and Avast plc where she also Chairs the Audit and Risk Committees. Belinda is a former director of Aviva UK Life and Pensions, Balfour Beatty plc, Grainger plc and Friends Life Group plc. In addition, she was previously a member of the FRC’s Advisory Group of Audit Committee Chairmen and a member of the Governing Council of the Centre for the Study of Financial Innovation.

Committee Changes

Belinda will join both the Company’s Audit and Risk and Nomination Committees with effect from her appointment. In addition, Karl Sternberg has been appointed to the Remuneration Committee with immediate effect.
