John Laing Group plc (LON:JLG) announced that Luciana Germinario is standing down from her position as Chief Financial Officer with immediate effect. She will be leaving the Company following a short handover period to ensure an orderly transition. The Company values Luciana’s contribution to the business, but Luciana has concluded, in agreement with the Board, that now is the right time for her to stand down.
The Board has commenced a search for Luciana’s successor. In this interim period, Stuart Colvin, Group Financial Controller, who has been with the business for 16 years, will be undertaking a key role in leading the finance function.
In addition, the Company is in advanced discussions with Patrick O’D Bourke, previously Group Finance Director of John Laing, who subject to certain consents, will work with the Finance team and the Board to provide advisory services during this interim period.
The Company’s current trading and outlook remain in line with previous guidance.
John Laing Group Chairman, Will Samuel said:
“On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Luciana Germinario for her contribution during her time with us and we wish her well for the future. We look forward to providing a further update on the Company’s progress at our interim results announcement in August.”
