John Laing Group CEO Olivier Brousse Resigns to move to Veolia Group

John Laing Group plc (LON: JLG) announced today that Olivier Brousse, has tendered his resignation from his position as Chief Executive Officer of the Company in order to take up a senior position at Veolia Group.

Olivier will remain as CEO of the Company whilst he assists the Company to effect an orderly transition.

The Company is in the process of identifying a new CEO and will provide updates, as appropriate, in due course.

John Laing’s Chairman, Will Samuel, said:

“On behalf of the Board, I would like to express our sincere thanks to Olivier for his valuable contribution to the Board and the Company, particularly in delivering the successful IPO and his leadership in evolving the Group’s geographic footprint and the diversification of the portfolio. Olivier will leave behind a strong management team and a Company that is in good shape. We will continue to work closely with him in the months ahead to ensure a smooth transition to the new leadership. He leaves with our best wishes for the future”.

Olivier said: “John Laing is a great company with a fantastic team of people throughout the business, making my decision to leave all the more difficult. They bring the experience, commitment and innovation required to deliver infrastructure solutions that drive society forward and are well placed to take advantage of the opportunities ahead.”
