INTERVIEW: Wey Education Plc Reconfirm commitment to ensure quality for teachers and pupils

Wey Education Plc (LON:WEY) Chairman David Massie talks to DirectorsTalk about the announcement of an Academic Advisory Board. David explains the background, talks about its initial members dame Erica Piennar and Elizabeth Sidwell and updates us on how the business is doing.

 

David has over thirty years’ experience in financial services; as well as his advisory work, has acted as Chairman of a number of publicly quoted and privately owned companies. He has worked throughout Europe and North and South America and has been ranked as one of the “Outstanding Chairmen in the United Kingdom” in relation to his non-executive roles. David is Chairman and CEO of IAF Capital Limited, a corporate finance and investment management firm, authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority. David acts and has acted as advisor to the United Kingdom Government and several overseas governments and enjoys a close relationship with numerous companies in the mining, financial and aviation sectors. He leads IAF Capital’s advisory activities for unquoted companies and the natural resource sector.

Wey Education Plc is a holding Company of an educational group with two trading divisions. Through InterHigh, the Company owns and operates an established online independent secondary school in the UK, offering IGCSEs, ‘AS’ Levels and ‘A’ Levels . Through Wey Consultancy, it operates a consultancy business, assisting parties seeking to sponsor free schools and academies.
