The Board of IG Group Holdings plc (LON:IGG), a global leader in online trading, has today announced the appointment of Charlie Rozes as Chief Financial Officer of the Company. This follows the announcement made on 21 January 2020 of Paul Mainwaring’s intention to retire. Charlie will join IG on 1 June 2020 as an Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer[1], following which there will be a month’s handover from Paul before he leaves the Company.
Commenting on the appointment, June Felix, Chief Executive Officer said: “I am thrilled that Charlie is joining the executive team of IG. He brings extensive international experience of leading and working with UK and overseas operations and has successfully driven a number of substantial growth programmes throughout his career. Charlie’s UK PLC and executive director experience will further support IG as it continues to grow its sustainable and diversified global business and in achieving its strategic growth ambitions. I would also like to thank Paul for his tremendous contribution to the Company and look forward to continuing to work with him over the next few months as we orchestrate an orderly transition of his responsibilities to Charlie.”

Biographical Details
Charlie Rozes has a proven track record of, and accountability for, financial control and reporting, accounting, tax, M&A, investor relations, risk and compliance, and audit, in his UK and international roles.
He is a highly experienced finance leader having held a number of executive director roles in the financial services sector and driving a number of substantial change programmes both in the UK and internationally.
Charlie began his professional career with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and became a Partner in 2001 in the US management consulting practice and following that held senior executive roles at IBM and Bank of America. In 2007, he joined Barclays plc where he was the Chief Financial Officer of Barclays UK Retail and Business Bank and became the Global Head of Investor Relations in September 2011 until August 2015.
He was the Group Finance Director at Jardine Lloyd Thompson plc from September 2015 until April 2019 when it was acquired by Marsh & McLennan Companies Inc. Since then Charlie has played a strong role in the ongoing integration programme to successfully merge these two companies.
Charlie has an undergraduate degree from Tufts University and an MBA from the Southern Methodist University.
