Guild Esports plc (LON:GILD), a global team organisation and lifestyle brand, has announced that it has won its fourth major esports trophy after its Fortnite pro-player, Henrik Mclean (‘Hen’), achieved first place in the prestigious Fortnite Champion Series (“FNCS”) Grande Royale on 21 November 2021, taking home a share of the $2.5m prize pool.

Guild Esports’ Anas El-Abd (‘Anas’), Jannis Matwin (‘JannisZ’) and Lennard Sill (‘Rezon ay’) rounded off the impressive showing by Guild, finishing in 3rd, 4th and 14th place respectively. The victory propelled Guild to the number 1 ranking spot in Europe and earned Guild’s pro-players a total of $356,500 in prize money from the event.

Kal Hourd, Gild Esports Chief Executive, said: “The FNCS Grand Royale was a dominating display from Guild’s entire roster, and taking home our fourth championship trophy was a testament to the hard work put in by everyone at Guild over the last year. There’s so much more yet to come.”
