The Board of Directors of GCP Infrastructure Investments Limited (LON:GCP), the only UK listed fund focused primarily on investments in UK infrastructure debt, has announced the following Board and Committee changes.
Following Ian Reeves CBE’s notification to the Board of his intention to retire as a Non-Executive Director of the Company, and as communicated in the Company’s 2022 half-yearly report, the role of Chairman of the Board was passed from Ian to Andrew Didham with effect from 20 June 2022.
Also, with effect from 20 June 2022, Andrew Didham will assume the Chairmanship of the Nomination Committee. He will continue as a member of the Investment Committee and the Management Engagement Committee.
As a result of Ian Reeves CBE’s intended retirement, a new Non-Executive Director is being sought. Ian will remain on the Board as a Non-Executive Director, and as a member of the Nomination Committee, the Investment Committee and the Management Engagement Committee until a replacement Non-Executive Director has been recruited with suitable knowledge, experience and skills. This process is expected to be complete no later than the calendar year-end of 2022.
Ian Reeves CBE commented, “It has been hugely rewarding to witness and contribute to the Company’s success over the twelve years since IPO. Andrew’s extensive board experience, strong leadership skills and wealth of financial knowledge makes him well placed to see the Company through its next phase of operations and growth, and I look forward to continuing to observe its successes.”
Andrew Didham, Chairman, commented, “I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of the Board to thank Ian for his significant contribution as Chairman of the Company over the last twelve years. His wealth of experience in the sector has been of great value to the Company, and we wish him our very best in his future endeavours.”
