Electroneum (ETN) has been listed on HitBTC, one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency trading exchanges.
The mobile-based cryptocurrency, whose 2.6 million users mine and transfer its digital currency, ETN, through their mobile phones, began trading on HitBTC yesterday (20th November) at 4pm GMT.
Three trading pairings are available for ETN: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) and USTD.
“We’re delighted to have been listed on HitBTC,” says Electroneum CEO and Founder Richard Ells. “It is one of the biggest exchanges in the world and being listed on it will give us access to a whole new market of cryptocurrency users and enthusiasts.
“We want to help people across the world to improve their lives through our currency and our instant payment API, which we recently developed. We have the tools and technology to make a real difference to the lives of millions of people throughout the world and partnering with an exchange of HitBTC’s calibre will give us the greater visibility we need to deliver this and to help us reach even more people.
“We’re excited to be working with them – they’re a fantastic team and we’re confident we’ll do great things together.”
Chris Lee, Head of Marketing, HitBTC, says:
“ETN is one of the most anticipated integrations to the HitBTC platform and an important benchmark for many traders. We would like to thank our community for all the patience and support – we have put great effort into listening to your voices, understanding your needs and building a great customer service on HitBTC.”
Richard Ells continues:
“Our HitBTC listing comes off the back of a great run for Electroneum. We’ve developed the first ever cryptocurrency instant payment API, announced we’re going to be the world’s first KYC-compliant cryptocurrency and today we’ve joined one of the world’s top cryptocurrency exchanges.
“It’s been an amazing few weeks and the momentum will continue with more massive announcements very, very soon.”
