Diageo Plc (LON:DGE) today announced that Ursula Burns’s appointment to the Diageo Board, as Non-Executive Director, had been delayed following her appointment as interim Executive Chairman of VEON Ltd (NASDAQ and Euronext Amsterdam: VEON).
Diageo and Ms. Burns have now agreed that in light of her still continuing to act as interim Executive Chairman of VEON, she will not take up her appointment on the Diageo Board.
