Newcastle United defender Dan Burn has expressed his opinion that Manchester City will defend their Premier League title this season. With just three points separating Arsenal and Man City ahead of Wednesday’s title clash at the Emirates Stadium, Burn believes the reigning champions have the edge due to the experience of their players. Man City have been the dominant force in English football for the past six years, having been crowned champions on four occasions.

Burn has discussed why he believes Man City will win the title race. He points to Arsenal’s lack of experience in these circumstances and their recent failure to qualify for the Champions League as factors working against them.

Man City manager Pep Guardiola is confident his side can retain the title, claiming ‘It’s in our hands’. He has never lost to Arsenal in the league and is determined to fight for the title until the last day.

Arsenal, however, have been revitalised this season under the guidance of Mikel Arteta and will be hoping to take advantage of their home advantage on Wednesday evening and take a major step towards winning the Premier League title for the first time since 2004.
