Computacenter plc (LON:CCC), a leading independent technology and services provider, has announced the appointment of Adam Walker as an independent Non-Executive Director of its Board of Directors, Chair of the Company’s Audit Committee, and member of the Company’s Nomination and Remuneration Committees, with immediate effect.
On 30 September 2024, Adam will also become Senior Independent Director of the Company when, as previously announced, Dr Ros Rivaz will step down from that role and from the Board.
Adam is currently a Non-Executive Director of Currys plc, and a member of its Audit and Remuneration Committees. His former executive roles include Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of IHS Holding Limited from 2017 to 2022, Chief Financial Officer of GKN plc, Group Finance Director at Informa PLC, and Finance Director at National Express Group PLC. Adam was a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee at Kier Group plc from 2016 to 2019, and a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee at Tritium DCFC Limited, listed on Nasdaq, until April 2024.
