During a tense confrontation, Captain Sandy described Fraser as a ‘cancer’ on the boat and criticized his leadership skills. This caused Fraser to break down in tears, as he was personally affected by the remark due to having lost a family member to cancer.
The comment was met with widespread criticism from viewers, who labeled it ‘the worst thing that could be said to someone’. Some even pointed out that Captain Sandy has experienced cancer in her own life, as she previously revealed that she was diagnosed with kidney cancer in 2015.
