The Board of Bovis Homes Group PLC (LON:BVS) today announced that Katherine Innes Ker has been appointed a non-executive director of the Company with effect from today, 9 October 2018. Katherine will also be a member of the Nomination Committee, the Remuneration Committee and the Audit Committee.
Katherine Innes Ker is a highly experienced non-executive director, committee chair and chair across a range of sectors and has extensive experience of the City. She is currently Senior Independent Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee at Go-Ahead Group PLC, the FTSE 250 listed train and bus service operator, Chair of the Mortgage Advice Bureau (Holdings) plc, the AIM listed provider of independent financial and mortgage advice, and a non-executive director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee of FTSE Small Cap building products company Forterra plc.
Katherine also brings further housebuilding experience to the Board, having been a non-executive director of Taylor Wimpey plc from 2001 to 2011 and Chair of the Remuneration Committee from 2004 to 2011. She was also a non-executive director of Bryant Group plc from 2000 to 2001, prior to the acquisition by Taylor Woodrow in 2001, and was Chair of Sovereign Housing Association Limited from 2016 to 2017.
Katherine was also a non-executive director, Senior Independent Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee at Tribal Group plc until 2015 and a non-executive director at S&U plc until 2014 and St. Modwen Properties PLC until 2013.

There is no other information to be disclosed pursuant to LR 9.6.13R in respect of Katherine Innes Ker. As at the date of this announcement, Katherine has no beneficial interests in the ordinary shares of the Company.
