On October of 2020, singer Billie Eilish and musician Jesse Rutherford were spotted together in Los Angeles and the romance has been a topic of conversation ever since. The pair were recently seen together again at the Super Bowl in Texas, where they left the event looking the picture of cool. Billie, 21, donned a casual Burberry tartan hat, a chequered Gucci skirt, a preppy cream shirt and finished off the look with some schoolgirl vibe socks and shoes, some relaxed sunnies and a classy neck scarf. Meanwhile, Jesse, 31, channelled the same indie look with some maroon pipe trousers, a blue cardigan and a spotty white shirt.

Jesse is best known as a member of alternative indie band The Neighbourhood and the 10 year age gap between him and Billie has earned criticism from fans. However, Billie doesn’t seem to care and looks to be still very much in love with her indie heartthrob. The pair even appeared to mock the age-gap backlash via their choice of Halloween outfits last year, when Billie dressed up as a baby doll and Jesse an elderly man. Billie’s brother and song-writing partner Finneas was also quick to hit back at the naysayers on TikTok, defending his sister’s right to make her own life decisions.

Speaking to Vanity Fair about the relationship, Billie said: ‘I just am really inspired by this person, and, you know, he’s inspired by me. It’s really cool, and I’m really excited and I’m really happy about it… I pulled his a**! All me! I did that s**t! I locked that motherf**ker down!’ It looks like Billie and Jesse are going strong and fans can hope to see them together for many Super Bowls to come.
