Amid Covid-19 pandemic the financial performance of Abu Dhabi National Hotels Company (ADX:ADNH) has seen decrease in profitability and efficiency ratios due to exponential reduction in travel & tourism activities which had imposed significant pressure not only on our hotels, but on the hospitality industry worldwide resulting in lower occupancy and revenue per room.
The ease of Covid-19 restrictions in the UAE and Abu Dhabi, which was followed by removal of almost all restrictions in early 2022 enabled ADNH hotels & subsidiary businesses to recover and return to prepandemic financial performance.
ADNH has managed to increase its net profit from AED 272.71 million in 2021 to around AED 420 million in 2022.
Abu Dhabi National Hotels Company achieved 54% growth in profits end of 2022.
